it cannot work because new TV sets first of all varifies the device address from where the infrared signals are coming, if it matches with the device address in its memory only then it responds.

Oh ha ha very funny. Well made video though. However this would be impossible because remote signal are not just light focused differently. It is specially coded pulses of infrared light, so the on signal for a tv might be 011101010100110 (0=off 1=on)
