Watch the symbols, they change. Look at 36, everytime you push the button the symbol changes.
And like Cristian said they are always the same. Not so cool anymore.

took me 1 hr to figure it out. Here it is: there are only 9 possible results to your substractions, i.e. the multiples of 9 (9,18,27,36 etc). You will notice that when the table fades out after a hit, all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol when they reappear - so whatever you are thinking of, that symbol is bound to appear in the globe. Nothing more than a trick.
